Kaw Point Fibershed

We are the Kaw Point Fibershed, a Fibershed affilate encompassing the 150 mile radius around Kaw Point in Kansas City.
The Kaw Point Fibershed is the connection point for shepherds, shearers, farmers, artisans, local retailers, natural dyers, mill owners, hand spinners, guilds, and others to come together within the 150 mile radius of the convergence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers.
Our goal is to create a local Fibershed that is able to provide sustainable textile options for the community with a resilient local network of fiber producers, processors, and consumers.
We host and share events featuring local producers and products, have a directory for members to connect with each other and community members to use as a resource, share a monthly newsletter, and meet on the last Tuesday of every month.
